If I asked you how many Jews died in the holocaust you could give me an answer right? You’d say 6 million or maybe 5 million. Now if I asked you to prove it- or just to explain why the number is 6 million could you do so?
Most can’t and there is no shame in it. We are taught the holocaust happened but never given proof. The holocaust was so massive it didn’t need proof- it’s like WW2 or the American Civil War.
The problem is that Holocaust deniers thrive on this ignorance. They know enough to poke holes (that don’t actually exist) and few people know enough to deflect their blows.
I have been engaged with the Holocaust denial “community” for a while now. I have learned and debunked every position they take and I have drawn the ire of influential holocaust deniers from all corners of the internet.
I have learned not only how vile this group is, but how weak their arguments are. When confronted with what “experts say” they laugh because, in their minds, they are experts. However when confronted with the primary sources- the run for the hills.
Today I will teach you exactly how to debunk any denier you have the misfortune of meeting.

Where did I get 6 million?
To get there we start with Auschwitz, the largest concentration camp of the Third Reich.
Thanks to train schedules, telegrams, and other data we can track exactly how many Jews were deported to Auschwitz. Not only do the Nazis track this data but the nations that deported the Jews tracked the data as well.
Alright, so we can track 271,200 Jews being sent to the camp.
Then we have other sources.
- According to a telegram sent from the German Ambassador in Budapest to Berlin 438,000 Jews had been deported to Auschwitz from Hungary
- 300,000–350,000 Jews were deported the Auschwitz from Poland
- Last we have 60,000 Jews being sent to Auschwitz from Germany or other camps.
So in total, 1,100,000 Jews were sent to Auschwitz.
Now when people arrived at Auschwitz they were either registered as labor or sent to the chambers and killed. 400,000 people were kept in the camp, about half were Jewish. The majority were killed in the gas chambers though.
After the war, 100,000 Jewish survivors of Auschwitz had escaped, been liberated, or were found at other camps. In other words, about 1 million Jews are missing. They did not immigrate to another nation nor were they found alive eventually. These 1 million people disappeared.
It should be clear they were killed because that's the only rational explanation and given the insane amount of evidence elsewhere- its the only possible conclusion.

In 1943 the Korherr Report was sent from SS Statistician Richard Korherr to Himmler himself. In this report, he details that 1.2 Jews were “processed” during Operation Reinhard (which is the 4 main extermination camps).
The same year (but a little earlier) the Hofle telegram was sent to various high-ranking SS figures from SS Sturmbannführer Hermann Höfle. In this document Hofle details 1.2 million Jews had been killed so far in Operation Reinhard.
So in 1943, we have 2 documents both confirming 1.2 million Jews had been killed in Operation Reinhard.
Then we get to the Einsatzgruppen which were the mobile killing squads going village to village, killing Jews and anyone else deemed subhuman.
The Einsatzgruppen sent in regular reports on exactly how many Jews they killed and where they killed them. One of the most well preserved is the Jager report which details a long list of kill records.
Now we have 103 of these reports from Einsatzgruppen Unit A, 63 reports from Einsatzgruppen Unit B, 77 reports from Einsatzgruppen Unit C, and finally 63 reports from Einsatzgruppen Unit D.
We also have mass graves, photographs, confessions from members of the Einsatzgruppen, and orders to them from SS high command.
From these reports, we know the Einsatzgruppen Units had killed an additional 1.5 million Jews at least by 1943.
So 1.2 million from Reinhard, 1.5 million from the Einsatzgruppen Units, then we add deaths in the ghettos and various massacres in Poland during 1939 and we can say conclusively that 3 million Jews died by 1943.
The holocaust did not end in 1943. We must factor in yet more horror.
First, we add 2.5 more years of killing in the extermination camps and massacres committed by the Einsatzgruppen. This brings us to at least 4.5 million killed.
After that, we add the total murdered at Auschwitz (proven above) which brings us to 5.5 million killed.
We also know the pre-war Jewish population on earth to be 16 million. Pre-war census data can be tricky and some estimates put the population around 15.7 million while others place it at 16.6 million. Regardless the post-war total is less than 10 million.
Furthermore, the Jewish population in Europe was almost entirely depopulated. Some Jews fled to American, Israel, Africa, and England but most did not. The majority were killed by the Einsatzgruppen but as many died in camps.

These are the facts holocaust deniers cannot contend with. They make their arguments- the same tired and debunked arguments they always make.
Can they explain why 6 million Jews vanished off the face of the earth? No
Can they explain why Einsatzgruppen units and various SS officials sent telegrams and documents detailing how many Jews had been killed? No (unless they say they are forged but this is false considering all documents have been tested by experts)
Can they explain where those 1 million Jews who were sent to Auschwitz went? No
You may expect more documents. There are more to be honest but not a ton. We have this myth of the Nazis recording everything but that is a mere myth. In reality, the Nazis went to great lengths to cover up what they had done.
Yet the holocaust was so massive it cannot be hidden. Despite Hitler’s best efforts, we have more than enough evidence to conclusively prove what happened.
In the next article, I am going to detail what arguments Holocaust deniers usually make and provide evidence of the gas chambers. You’ll be shocked by how flimsy their arguments really are.
It’s rather sad holocaust deniers even exist. Their cult is based on hatred- hatred for Jews, homosexuals, and often themselves. The holocaust is perhaps the darkest moment in human history and its legacy pervades society even today. Truly, a horrible thing.
